White Rajah has been year round for at least five or six years. The only time it was limited is maybe the first year it was brewed.

Great. Super well run event, guys. Took my wife, got a number by 10:01, had brunch at the restaurant (which is awesome in its own right), then hit the amazing tap list, and got a bottle when my number was called at 11:15. Crazy efficient. Thanks

Most of the taps still on, other than the casks? Dire Wolf and Clear Sky variants?

Why do all of these Columbus breweries have releases on Sundays? They're killin' me!

I guess for the same reason they release Teku glasses with "wraparound fart cloud" art on them...because they can?

A buddy and I may do a brewery run Saturday and we wanted to hit HH. So I agree and dislike the Sunday stuff. I'm not running the brewery, obviously, so it's just my opinion.

I don't run the brewery either but here's a thought; perhaps they do Sunday because it means extra business they wouldn't normally get. Or, perhaps it keeps things from being less of a cluster because the staff only has to deal with the release customers and not a bunch of extra people just there to drink. People will show up and drink on a Saturday regardless of a bottle release. But how many people normally wake up on a Sunday and plan to hit the bar at 10am? Just my two cents.

Thinking of making the trip to check out Hoof Hearted this Sunday. Anybody know if their taproom is dog friendly?

@meanmutt There was a dog in there at the Musk release, so I assume so!

I am quite sure I will be going Sunday... Had a blast two weeks ago at the Musk release, well worth the hour and 40min drive or whatever it is for me.

Multiple reasons. There was an OSU home game Saturday. That alone would have killed the release. It killed the North Market fest, which we were also already committed to on Saturday. Our last release was a Saturday and hopefully the next will be too.

And yes, most of the draft list will be intact Tuesday.

    Awesome, thanks for the info!

One more question, do you know if these releases generally sell out quickly, or could I walk in at say 4pm and still score some cans?

I was a fan of the Sunday release for precisely that reason. Went to the football game, no chance for me to have gone to a beer release that day.

I couldn't find any info...is there a limit to the number of 4-packs you can purchase? I'll be driving 2 hours from Youngstown and would like to score at least (4) 4-packs.

I believe they at least allow a case but judging how they handle the Saison bottles (crossing swords) you could get as much as you want.

Excellent! Thanks for the info. Hopefully that will still be the case this Sunday.

Missing alerts here, anyone know why? Happens sporadically. Every once in awhile I'll drop back in on this thread and there will be new posts but I have nothing in my alert history.

I have the same issue pretty frequently. It's infuriating.
