Hope that BBXXVII (I think that is the year we are up to on this) sits around. I would say the price on the Abyss attributed to it sitting around. I picked it up without asking first and it was $22 I believe. That was at Giant Eagle.

Yeah that's what I saw it for as well.

Speaking of something sitting for the price, I've been watching to see how long it takes for the Shaler GE to sell their bottles of BA Hibernation. They've had them for months.

I'm pretty excited to check out these Pitt breweries this weekend. I like how grist house and roundabout are somewhat close to each other.

Very true. Now every other trade thread I see consists of:

    FT: Abyss
    ISO: anything besides Abyss.

    What's the price tag?

I actually enjoy Abyss quite a bit (if the price is right)...and would put it in roughly the same category "value-wise" with Sucaba and Parabola.

I would strongly suggest checking out Draai Laag as well. Their offerings are a little more unique than what you would find at the usual neighborhood brewpub, and it is literally a block or two away from Grist House.

    $29.99

I bought one at that price because I actually really love that beer, but it's way too expensive to justify more. If it were more like $18 I'd buy a few.

GE Market Dist in Pine, recently had BA Hibernation and Peach Grand Cru on sale for like $10-$15 each.

I dig that beer too, but at this point in the game for me, no beer is worth $30. Let alone that one.

That's what I've been watching for. If the Shaler GE drops the price of their BA Hibernation bottles I'm going to snag them.

Draai Laag is a block or 2 away from Grist House and Hop Farm is maybe 6 blocks from Roundabout. Just an FYI.

If this happens let me know. I enjoy BA Hibernation....just not at the $30 price point.

I have been less than excited about the Peach Cru, i guess if it had more Peach i'd like it more

Which of those breweries is providing anything of significantly better quality than that which was already here? Are people buying these beers on the regular?

Pretty sure lots of people are buying Deschutes stuff. In trying to get over my distaste for the IPAs I found that Fresh Squeezed is pretty tasty.

That's great info. Thanks! I've been trying to find local tap lists for places to see if I can sample all these places at a beer bar.
