Shadyside MD has the Terripin/CCB Collab Vapricot behind the counter. 4pk limit.

Ended up skipping BG tonight and decided instead to grab a pint of Big Grusome on draft at Shadyside MD as well as a bottle of Redankulous which is a great beer.

Mexican COFFEE. I made this mistake the other day when talking to Matt.. haha Slightly more egregious when you're talking to the brewery owner.

As soon as I saw they had Bone Marrow I knew that was something that I would consume.

I found one at Sharp Edge. ~$14 for what looked like a 500ml.
Anywhere ring a bell besides this or House of 1k beers?

Haha, probably just missed you. I stopped by earlier to pick up my bottle of twice a decade ale.

Faro is available in the area. My store doesn't currently have it but if I remember I'll order in a case for next Tuesday. Faros don't hold up well so few are imported.

"A new restaurant featuring more than 120 beers on tap is part of a massive overhaul just starting at 2 PPG Place, Downtown, a transition that marks the end for the once-bustling food court and some retailers."
    [...]
"The restaurant, he said, will feature a draft system with local and global craft beers and an “unparalleled audio visual system.” The menu will be made up of American classics “with unique twists.”"

Never lost, just trying to control my beer consumption! Spent some time in the hospital for a nasty internal infection, beer budget went from not enough to non-existent.

Had just come on to share this. Looks like we'll have another option to point out to visitors in downtown.

120 taps, eh? I am always skeptical of places like this. Who knows how long those beers have been on. Can't check the bottle date on an IPA that's been on tap for 5 months.

No way all those lines will be cleaned, either.

I'd rather go to a place with 10-20 taps of quality than 120 taps of who knows what.

You don't think they rotate cleaning them like 60 one day, 60 another ....haha

120 taps. Hope they don't waste a bunch of space with turds. Like Beer Market (place near PNC Park)--each time I'm there, about four beers are notable, but they happen to all have kicked and I'm left pretending the trip was worth a mediocre beer. Initially hoped Beer Market would be more like the chain Yard House, which, while the food is not great and there are still a bunch of turds, does have a larger share of notables. Realize at 100, they can't all be gems, but hope that that City Works is like Yard House or better and less like Beer Market.

    EDIT:
Thinking nearly the exact same thing; actually started my comments with "120 taps, eh?" before the page updated with your comment and I had to change it or be unoriginal.

Most of these places, including Yard House, make a grand show of their tap lines, which are 100+ feet, and which hold several beers each in queue--I can't help but wonder how often and how well they clean their lines and how long beer will sit.

I haven't had a faro yet, but I had a detroch winter gueuze recently that tasted like it was back sweetened like a faro and it was a struggle to choke down 4 ounces.

Hope you are ok. Cheers to you getting better and coming back to the degenerate drinkers club of Pittsburgh.
