I noticed Gentile's got a case of 3F Alpha King in today when I was picking up some homebrew supplies if anyone is interested. 1 bottle limit.

1 bottle limit? Not sure why these places still treat FFF like its liquid gold when the best hops from Ohio (i.e madtree, fat heads, hoof hearted) are much better. FFF is soooo overrated IMO

Any places around Cleveland got some Logsdon bottles and/or Bodhi on tap? Gonna be working in the area the next couple days.

Bodhi - Rozis and Heinens maybe? Thought I saw a second place.
Logsdon - Royal Park had some as of Monday.

The Heinen's in Shaker Heights currently has some Bodhi on-tap, but I'd call first to double check..

Probably because there are many craft drinkers that still think it's liquid gold. You even have to ask for it at Anderson's now (I thought they just weren't receiving shipments). I'm not going crazy over FFF, but realistically they brew some very tasty DIPAs.

I'm glad they're doing limits at Gentiles. I once watched a guy grab 10 bottles of loons after me and another guy grabbed a single bottle each (not that I could afford any more). That alone justifies it for me. One bottle for Alpha King is a little extreme, however.

I think it's a situation where when some shops only get a single case of something, they automatically think "Better put a one bottle limit on this." If FFF sent more than a few cases to a major city, I imagine we would see more shops willing to put whole sixers of their stuff out. I also imagine bottle shops don't mind it because they can make more money selling 24 single bottles than 4 six packs.

Yup - supply and demand. People still want it, and stores only get a case or two. ZD for me is still my favorite APA, and there isn't a suitable alternative to my palate. I can pretty much forgo their other stuff, but some of their bombers are an occasional grab for me (Alpha Klaus, Panzer Wolf, and Cimm. Sabertooth).

Hey all, my sister is in Cleveland and wants to bring me home some beer that I can't get in MI for my birthday. Any suggestions on new stuff? Additionally, any place nearby filling Bodhi growlers?

So my local bottle shop got some Founders Breakfast stout today - but it's in the four pack with the baby on it. I thought they were changing the label? Could this suggest a one year old batch?

I believe it's only New Hampshire...maybe one more state.

When I drank it last month Founders replied on my Untappd check-in"Have no fear, the baby will be sticking around in all states but Michigan".Their bottle on date codes are usually easy to read.

I was let down by this. Rather take a Head Hunter any day (style agnostic) for more tropical fruit flavor and that's obviously not even fruited.
