Ballast Point Dorado DIPA in NY?

Hm, I've had Sculpin on tap a number of times at J. Ryan's. Just last week, in fact. And they've had bottles for sale in their cooler once or twice, but the last I recall was several months ago.

 

This hasn't reached the Westchester county area yet, I've emailed the manager of the distributor out here to try and find out some dates. I'll update when I find out anything.

 

Will do! He just got back on vacation so I expect it to be a day or so at least.

 

Wasn't thrilled with this one even a little. Had a case with my name on it, but after having a few bottles of it...i kindly suggested it be sold to someone who'd appreciate it a lot more than I would.

 

Thoroughly. The bottles I drank had a very off taste. I can't even describe it. I just know that it was very difficult to get through the bottles I had.

 

Just got an email back and they're expecting it by the end of next week so I'd say you can expect to see it in stores the following week early. They're getting a very limited amount of 1/6th Kegs (expect to see em in your fav restaurants!) and a good number of 22s. Cheers!

 

It's all over the place in north Jersey, and most places have it for sub-$10. The two bottles I've had were both excellent, no 'off' flavors of any sort.

 

I'm not sure about the Island but I'm fairly sure this should include the city as the distributor is based out of BK.
