I agree with what you are saying, and I have found that VIP tickets for most events like this, especially local ones, is not worth it. We all know this a local beer fest in every sense of the name. Im more inerested in why they changed venues. I was never at any of the previous Beers of the Burg, but their new choice of the South Side is a bit of a head scratcher.

It was part of the agreement ahead of time.

Pessimistic aren't you? Why would one of the owners of Draai Laag lie to me? Just out of curiosity.

cause he's not the owner of Caliente and there's (presumably) no contractual agreement

So Draai Laag agreed to increase the price by 20% and Caliente conceded to coming down on their normal 40% markup.

Also, what will be the price at the Hampton Caliente...?

You are right, the best thing to do to foster great relationships in town is to partner up with someone for a cross promotional product and then renege on agreements that are made. That seems logical.

I think it is only going to the one Caliente, but I am not 100% sure

    Mostly an observation...

But since I don't involve myself in any social media (unless BA counts?), it's a good thing...for me at least. I appreciate the info...

Not the exact same, but similar to when BA Gratitude was there the same day for what...$40 I forget the specifics.

Honestly I forgot to ask him when I talked to him. If I find out I will let you guys know for sure. Does anyone know how this compares #'s wise to the last bottle release? 300 doesn't seem like a lot.......
