I think D's always has Founders Pale Ale on nitro

Edit: it looks like they always have 2 nitro lines, not always Founders

House does. Frequently has Cowbell, but now it's Cigar City Minaret ESB.

At least for beers of the burgh you have a pretty good idea of what youre going to get. Basically going to be all the pgh area breweries youve heard of and several you didnt know existed because theyre still in the "some guy homebrewing in his garage" phase.

@jeevo last night I drank a 2011 Dark Lord and watched Fury Road for the first...and then second time.

The beer didn't taste like soy sauce at all, but now I have diabetes.

Back to back viewings? It's safe to say that you enjoyed it? :grinning:

Yes. It joins the ranks of Guardians of the Galaxy and Fargo of back to back viewings. But I actually just wanted to drink water during it instead of beer.

Any word on any of the good harvest beers and when they are dropping? Victory, Fat Heads, etc. The only one I've seen is Hop Knife.

Does anyone know if Fat Heads is doing Wet Hopped Trail Head again this year?

Haven't seen Victory Harvest yet, but think Fat Heads has the Hop Stalker (in addition to the Wet Hopped Train Head) that hits in the Fall. I can do without pumpkin beers in July, but agree that I'd like to see these on the shelves already.

Not sure about Trail Head, but Hop Stalker is definitely coming in October. Typically, it is released during Cleveland Beer Week, which I believe begins on October 9th.

I don't consider myself much of a lager guy but I've had 3 Oktoberfest that I've thoroughly enjoyed, troegs scratch, victory festbier, and roundabout.

On a beer related note, is anyone doing any beer drinking in the 412 tonight?

Was just told it would be early October.

Think Fat Heads Oktoberfest was really solid last year, preferred it to Great Lakes. Agree that Troegs Scratch and Victory were good--haven't yet tried Roundabout.

If my research is correct Wet Hopped was released 9/17/14 last year. Just curious. I really enjoyed that beer!!
