I've just been on the Harviestoun site. Who's buying 1 bottle of Ola Dubh 18 for £18 or OD 16 for £15 or OD 12 for £12, when you can get all 3 for £15? Seems ridiculous they're even offering that.

I actually got a 12, 16, 18 and 21 from The Whiskey Exchange here, whilst buying some Yamazaki whiskey for the old man.
Prices are so much more reasonable there (which is luck, rather than judgement).
The 12 and 16 came in a 5 pack for £12 (other 3 were Bitter & Twisted, Broken Dial and Old Engine Oil). 18 was £5.95 and the 21 £7.95 which I thought was steep, but now looks like a bargain!

Anyway, I haven't had any of the Ola Dubh's yet. Something to look forward to?

Absolutely, they're fantastic, dark roast malt, hint of treacle/coffee and whiskey background from the casks.

The prices on the website are actually for a 3 x 330ml bottle pack, the mixed pack being an average price of the three.

Not tried the 21, but will be on the lookout for it, possibly from the brewery which is only 25 mins from my house.

Was in Edinburgh today again so another quick stop in the stockbridge tap - Raw brewing bramling cross, was a servicable enough golden ale and Fyne Rune, which was a bit better. Only when I was leaving did I notice that they had Highland imperial stout on. damn it!

Real Time Saison - Partizan and Prairie
Ajna - Beavertown and Dogfish Head
Violet Underground - Wildbeer and Firestone Walker

You tried the Double Joker IPA?, really nice.

Guy in my local bottle shop suggested I try Er Boquerón - Cerveza con agua de mar, basically sea water beer. Strange taste and mouth feel, not actually unpleasant, but doubt I would buy again.

They were all really good, my personal favourite would have been the Wild Beer and Firestone Walker collab. I am waiting patiently to see if I get a full box so I can try them all.

I've had the magic rock and cigar city red ipa. Very hoppy, nice but not a big fan of the style. Looking forward to the rest!

Mate, I've just seen magic rock posted on Facebook an hour ago they had 50 boxes for sale on their website. Looks to be sold out now. Maybe keep your eye on social media for the involved breweries.

Enjoyed a Fullers Past Masters 1914 Strong X pale mild ale. Loving these historical strong pale milds, lovely sipping beers with awesome malt flavours.
