With having no football 'til tomorrow, I spent the afternoon/early evening in Glasgow with Mrs. Kozel, we both had,
    Tankovna Budvar in Ubiquitous Chip,
Anchor Steam Beer (draught) - Westmalle Dubbel - Kruzovice (draught) in The Belle,
Baltika 6 - Kozel (draught) - Salted Caramel Vodka in Café Cossachok.

Bought from Valhalla's Goat and now sharing with her highness,
    Buxton - Saison,
    Harviestoun - Ola Duhb 18,
Beavertown - Smog Rocket Smoked Porter,
    Rochefort - 10,
    Inveralmond - De Mons,
Brasserie De L'Abbaye Des Rocs - Special Noel,
    Cromarty - Ghost Town.

Would just like to say, along with she who must be obeyed, the Tankovna Budvar, Kruzovice, Westmalle (obvs), Buxton Saison, Ola Duhb, Cromarty - Ghost Town were all fantastic. Special mention for the Inveralmond De Mons, smelled like a Belgian beer, tasted like a Belgian beer, but made in Scotland...love that brewery

Well that didn't go well.

However, went for a few beers with my son and nephew, had...

    Broughton - Proper IPA,
    Devil's Backbone,
Innis and Gunn - Toasted Oak IPA,
    4 x Crafty Dan's 13 Guns.

Just had some sort of Czech/Adnams/Wetherspoons collaboration called Black Knight. Pretty good. In fact the best conditioned pint I've had from any Whetherspoons.

    Floreffe Prima Mellior
    Affligem Double
    Founders Centennial IPA
Schneider Weisse Tap 6 Unser Aventinus

Tap 6 was the standout, wonderful strong German brew. Had to jump to the Founders, one of my fave hoppy beers to take the nasty taste of defeat away at the rugby Saturday.

Found today how ridiculously close the shop Real Ale is to me (about a mile and a half). Just a shame my job finished yesterday so I have to move away tomorrow, back to unemployment at the parents. At least I can now commiserate with the help of:
    Anspach and Hobday Smoked Brown
Struise Black Albert (if any beer can cheer you up, this can)
Põhjala Rukkirääk Rye (from Estonia, looked intriguing)

I stopped by WEST today and tried their oktoberfest. Nice beer but I was thinking it was just an export strength lager than a proper oktoberfest. That said I've not tried the lighter variations of those beers for what must be a couple of years, so I'm going to seek them out this week to try them. Also mildly annoying that they still insist on plastic glasses for outside, I guess its a licensing requirement. Can't imagine even the east end of glasgow is lairy enough at 2pm on a monday to warrant it

I got a largeish delivery from Belgium the other week and that was the only beer I couldn't order. However managed to source a bottle from a local bottleshop at the weekend  One for the up and coming winter nights.

Definitely saving it for Christmas so it can mellow out a bit.
For now though my dad has a mini cask of homebrew dry stout on the go. Really nice stuff actually, very tasty and rich, but medium bodied and drinkable.
