Happy for them. Not sure I am happy for us Ohio customers though. I have a hard enough time getting anything other than HH, Bumble, and Spooky Tooth already :slight_frown:

I guess there was a large line when Hop JuJu was released this year. Pretty funny considering they have a TON of it for sale at the brewery for weeks. I'd drive up to the brewery if you wanted some in bulk. Or find someone in your area that will make the drive. I'm sure someone from your neck of the woods will drive up for some when it goes on sale.

Hop Juju was fairly easy to buy off the shelf in Columbus last year. You couldn't buy cases or anything, but I was able to buy several 4 packs without truck chasing or any such nonsense.

Yeah, Wolf's Ridge has the best stouts on right now. Yesterday, they had canis mexicanus and one line dire wolf on tap. CBC restaurant (which actually is not affiliated with the brewery) currently has Bodhi, Galaxy High, and White Rajah.

Usually what I have to do. Drive to Columbus, or the Canton/Akron area. Both of which are only about 45 min closer than the brewery. I understand my county not getting any because it is mostly a beer wasteland, but even driving to good bottle shops in the next counties over (in Newark and Zanesville) they really dont get much seasonal/ special release stuff at all. Maybe a case of Ju Ju this year at one of the 2. Never saw Hop Stalker, Trail Head, or Hop Fro down my way. There was a decent amount of Bone Head around though. No rhyme or reason. I am in a Fat Head's Bermuda Triangle apparently :grinning:

Third. Had 1/2 dozen Dire Wolf variants in the tap room about 2 weeks ago. Dont know if thats typical, but it was awesome.

Anyone else make it to a Browns game yet? Selection was very nice yesterday. PBCP on draft, cans of JABF Pale '64 and Hazy Days with in easy access of my seats. I know we were discussing freshness at one point, but nothing seemed horribly off to me.

@Spider889 How did the presentation at GABF go?

How is that possible about the CBC restaurant not being affiliated with the brewery? Wouldn't the brewery give them the old cease and desist letter for using their name?

TL;DR version - currently under separate ownership and lawyers are involved.

I always just figured that the restaurant purchased the rights to slap the name on a sign but never really knew the whole backstory. I take it that's not the case...

Any info on 'Wet Hopped' Trail head? Was going through my IG and saw that I posted a pic '52 weeks' ago. (Which is a year of corse) so is it comming out this week? Last years can date was 9/16/14. Or at least the one I took a pic of. TIA

(New to Ohio) bells 30th anniversary imperial stout. Might buy a single bottle, I have not been impressed with their new beers lately. Especially at the price.

IMO this is pretty tasty FWIW. Had it on draft at the cafe last week.

Totally understand your skepticism since I was really disappointed with a lot of the planet series as well.

It was a big success. The room was full and we were getting tons of great questions. I think we opened some eyes and it felt good giving back a little after all the help and support we've gotten from other breweries.
