Tried Full Pint's Casa Bonita watermelon jalapeño tonight. If anyone else has, I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts (though I can probably guess what they might be).

I thought it was pretty terrible, to me it tasted like artificial cotton candy flavoring, pretty disappointing considering the last few other things I had from them I thought were pretty decent especially the Ned flanders.

Yeah, it was a weird one. Pepper-flavored bubblegum.

Presuming the bottle limit for The Plague will also be 4 per at Draai Laag. At only 300 bottles, might be advantageous to get there at 7 for people who are interested.

Yea I got bubblegum all day. With a relative imperceivable amount of spice flavor.

Holy hypwagon. No wonder they "collaborated" with Caliente.

Everyone wondered what Caliente contributed to the equation. Hype is pretty clearly the answer.

    Smart move by DL, though.

It's that time of year once again- when Wigle embraces all things brewed in celebration of local BEER! Our Homebrewers Competiiton takes place on 11/1 at the Northside Barrelhouse, 1055 Spring Garden Ave, from 12 PM- 4 PM. The three winners will receive prizes including a freshly emptied whiskey barrel ($150 value), whiskey and tour tickets.

I recently developed a trading partnership with a guy out in the St. Louis area. I threw in a 750 of CPA as an extra to get the word out on a beer/brewery I really love. I asked him today what he thought and he agreed that it was as awesome as I'd lead him to believe and asked me to send him more growlers for the bottle share at the next Side Project release to gain some more exposure for The Brew Gentleman.

So I guess we aren't all just a bunch of biased homers...

If only I still had a bottle of Ta Luego... An early BG trading whale.

    Unless you're lying to yourself.

That bottle would cancel out all progress made by CPA. For BG's rep's sake, you're better off just choking that shit down on your own.

I have heard great reviews of BG's Akamai and Lou. Hoping to make it down that direction to try those out or snag a growler or two

I had Lou on a shredded palette after having several other hoppy beers so I can't comment properly but don't miss Akamai or CPA.
