I was able to get a full allocation. I'm now 3 for 4. Hoping to keep it up!

I can't even imagine how many people are going in for these rare tickets! If I win those tickets I'm going for the lottery next.

Nothing.... I've yet to be successful in a lottery.

Would anyone care to enlighten on what the rare tickets are?

0 for 3... with how many bottles end up on public sales, what percent of winners are no shows?

1/1/2/0 for me. I'm not sure why some people are having trouble winning the lottery. I think I've entered 5 or 6 times, and this is my third time winning.

...some people are less lucky? It's random. It's cool you win consistently, but most do not

I'm sorry, but do they usually say the odds of winning? If I keep winning, I'd be inclined to say the odds are good. If I always lost, my impression would be different. Thanks for the snarky response though. Very productive.

Because saying "I'm not sure why some people are having trouble winning the lottery." implies that it is the entrant that is causing the issue and that it is not a lottery.

While you have a very good win ratio, you are a single data point and probabilities are not based off a single data point. Plenty of the rest of us have very poor/non-existant win ratios.

my statement doesn't imply that the entrant is doing anything wrong at all. My only thought was that other people would win the lottery as often as I have. Apparently that was misguided. I wasn't looking to offend anyone. I am no better at winning lotteries than anyone else.

60% of the time i win every time. Oh wait...

On a serious note, despite striking out again i have had good luck with the public sales and a local bottle shop gets some in on occasion too.

That's a good question but I doubt that Upland tracks those kind of stats. I can't get them to post a picture of their tap list and put in on Facebook.

When I pickup bottles I have to sign for them. When I have picked up bottles towards the end of a pickup window I have noticed a lot on lines with no signatures. Take that for what it's worth.

    1 raspberry
    1 cherry
    1 Three Degrees North
    2 Dantalion

Last time every one of me and my buddies won at minimum 3 beers. This time I was the only one out of 5 of us that got an email at all

Not sure exact numbers but I've done a few public sales and there are always plenty left over. Unlimited allotment for the most part with the occasional one bottle limit on special ones (sour reserve #6 last time I went).

I haven't won in the public lottery, EVER, with the exception of my mom winning a Kiwi only in the last round. Generally speaking I have entered myself, my wife, and 3-4 other family members. I would venture to guess that I am literally in the realm of 1/40 if you consider all the entries I've made.

All that said, with the exception of Sour Reserve, the public sales have been so smooth that I don't even bother entering into the lotteries anymore. If you're remotely local, there's basically no point.

When is the Public Sale this time around? 10/31? If I recall correctly it is typically the Saturday after?
