    Agreed....Raspberry Abduction was much too sweet for my taste.

    Every Pipeworks stout I've had not named "Grand Guignol" has been too sweet for me. The Abductions are tasty but are usually too much for me to enjoy throughout the bottle.

    My policy for Pipeworks is I have to approve of the label or no sale. If the label passes, then the beer has to sound good too. Like others have said, I found their Abduction stouts to be too sweet. Candy beers aren't my thing.

    I finally broke out Cherry Truffle and Toasty Nut last weekend. Cherry Truffle kind of had that cough syrup flavor but as it warmed it tasted too sweet. I thought Toasty Nut was very enjoyable and not overly sweet. I still have Pistachio, Raspberry and Coffee that needs to be opened soon.

    Hold up, Pistachio Abduction? I'm intrigued.

    The Raspberry Truffle one was super sweet, similar to the Cherry.

    The Pistachio is one of the best ones IMO. Was really interesting.

    Here's to hoping they brew Pistachio Abduction again, I really wanna try it.

    Does a vomiting unicorn pass your test? Gotta say, probably wouldn't pass mine. Luckily I don't eat the label, but drink the contents, which happened to be amazing.

    All the Unicorn beers are on the do not buy list since they punked me with the weak canned Unicorn recipes. It's matter of principle.

    LOL. Sure bet is based off the fish beers. DIPA + Honey + Fruit
    Also the canned NvU blows the old extra malty recipie out of the water.

    the last time it was bottled was in june....

    you do know that NvU was seemingly a new recipe almost every time i tasted it. Those guys were constantly playing around with it.

    yeah, batch 135 was so much spicier it seemed than the other batches. that kinda black pepper finish spicy.
