Tis a stout. Sadly it's aged in Wild Turkey barrels. Haven't pulled the triger yet. Lol

Heavy Seas in Maryland has a year round bourbon barrel program. They have 5 different ones to choose from.

Not a bad call honestly. I remember Siren Noire being pretty good, if a little light on bourbon character.

I don't remember specifically when (this summer), but I know that I saw some at the Andersons on Bent Tree the last time I was there. Off the top of my head, I think the other places that had some where in Newark and Canton.

I would check Boulevard Carry Out on the west side

Was in VE yesterday and they had plenty of BB Brick Kiln on the shelf. Although Chalet Premier is 10 minutes away and typically a dollar or two less per bottle when they have comparable stuff.

Ain't gonna find it in Ohio, but yes, Velvet Merkin and Parabola are fantastic and worth trading for.

Funny... I had no idea that stuff was in there. Didn't taste it when I had it on tap at the brew pub...

Arcadia Bourbon Barrel Aged Shipwreck Porter. Not brewed in Ohio, but have seen a few places receive shipments recently. Awesome beer and at 12%, we can get in Ohio

It's good... Not as good as the Black Butte³, but definitely worth trying.

There's a bunch of them. A 7% stout, a 13.5% stout (presumabely not available in OH), an amber, and a pumpkin ale.

It was only released at the pubs, so it's out of everyone's hands unless you visit the source.

Look for any BA beer from Clown Shoes in Ohio, they've yet to let me down. Ohio Unidragon 2015 from them hitting shelves now, I know it's not BA but it's a big RIS none the less. last yr's was 11.5%

I never see their BA stouts anymore. Vampire Slayer (Undead Party Crasher) was always one of my favorites when I could find it, but it's been a long time since I've seen it anywhere. Crasher in the Rye was pretty damn good (slightly lactic in a bad way, but only slightly), but I thought Ride the Lion was borderline disgusting so their BA line is hit or miss for me. Unidragon is definitely solid, but just not what I'm craving (craving so hard) right now.
