    I will start with dinner from last night. Thanks in a large part goes to my gf who keeps me fed.

    I now know why they were limiting to just one six pack at my store when they got this in. It was amazing, dare I say... new favorite?

    To anyone still wondering about the SN fall pack I said I got for ~$27 it was $25 before tax. This is the 24 pack we are talking about however. From Costco.

    Good Morning - & Good Night,

    Got off work an hour ago, just dispatched a glorious gut buster of a breakfast burrito, and now I'm having a Moose Drool before grabbing a few hours shuteye before my alma mater makes one of their infrequent appearances on television to do battle with Cal Poly.

    Happy Saturday, BA's! Almost 11 here in just beautiful NOVA & I'm starting my day the Alesmith way:

    Always solid. Using a new nonic that I picked up yesterday :slight_smile: (Technically, I used it last night too...but this somehow feels like a more appropriate brew to officially christen it with)

    So, since it's Saturday, it's time for yet another installment of my ongoing project...BA Anime Saturday! I think this is now the 5th edition. As per usual, it's just a nostalgia thing for me - but I hope all you BA's out there who watched Sci Fi channel in the early 90's will enjoy.

    Today's selection:


    This one's a delightfully trashy comic romp from the late 80's that never garnered much more than a cult following here stateside.

    From a purely aesthetic standpoint, that 1st pic is killer! I love how the parallel/perpendicular framing of the remote/beers/plate are broken up by the straight-line angularity of the grain in the table. Even the pattern on the plate brings an extra linear dimension - well done!

    Thank you sir, I have taken a few photo classes and take snaps (snapchats) of alomst every meal. I like to think I do a good job. Layout and lighting are key!

    It definitely shows - the attention to detail in the layout is evident, I'm even seeing now that the contents of the plate are in play: the division of the two food elements broken up by the knife acting as a 'y' axis of sorts & then the fork playing the role of 'x', so to speak. Shoot, even the inclusion of your legs adds depth.

    You've clearly got a knack for composition - stick with it, my friend!

    Thank you friend, I really snapped that one rather quickly because my girlfriend was giving me the "you'r crazy stop taking pictures of food" look and I was rather hungry and intoxicated. I hope to post more here though so keep your eyes peeled!

    That's a split-top bun my friend. I refuse to eat tubed meat on one of those. That and not being able to drink milk that's not from my fridge are 2 of the millions of things that make me somewhat insane.

    Even the way that the chicken is cut & the one piece of the salad & sliver of cheese invading the chicken side of the plate are kind of genius. This guy is like our own personal Wes Anderson...
