I was in Vermont earlier this week, so I visited Fiddlehead, Otter Creek and (technically) Zero Gravity. Fiddlehead is a cozy little place, but sadly they only had two beers on tap for fills. I enjoyed the IPA, so I got a couple growlers of it. Only spent a minute in Otter Creek because they didn't have any Double Dose and there wasn't much else I was interested in on tap. And the Zero Gravity stop was a lunch trip to American Flatbreads, where the food was outstanding (as always) and the beer was decent. Fun to visit places, but I didn't get any particularly memorable beer. I do like the Belgian-style glass that I picked up at Fiddlehead, though.

Just visited Wormtown in Worcester Mass. Fun spot, good beer. Will be hitting Trillium in Boston in a few weeks and next month will be in San Diego for 10 days and will visit lots of breweries.

Was on a business trip to Tampa recently and I had a chance to visit a couple of really nice breweries:

Cigar City Brewing... loved this place. Was there 4 times in 5 days.

Some deliciousness is aging in these.

I highly recommend CCB to anyone that has a chance to visit while in Tampa. They don't serve food but there are rotating food trucks outside throughout the day.

As part of a weekend trip to ATL for the SEC championship game, I went to Orpheus Brewing. Like most breweries, kinda hard to find, but worth it. Pretty good set up with room for expansion, impressive barrel room. Wish I could get up there when they put some of those wine barrel sours on tap. Really like The Ferryman, the stout they have on now, and their newest IPA offering Life.Death.Life.Truth. $12 bucks for seven five-ounce pours not a bad deal either, got to sample everything they had on tap that night.

went to Detroit and visited: Batch brewing - solid place, had the barleywine on cranberries and drank it next to the chef that made the recipe, sweet Nano brewery. Jolly Pumpkin also, that place is solid, sours were great wish they had more on tap though seemed to be out of a lot ofstuff.

A few days after Thanksgiving, I was visiting North Carolina for the holidays and found myself at Wicked Weed's Funkatorium, One World Brewing, Twin Leaf Brewery in Asheville and at Sierra Nevada in Mills River.

After I came back home, I have been to Arts District Brewing in Los Angeles twice.
