@robgage and @devilfluff since the tie-breaker guesses were somewhat ambiguous, I'm going to call this a tie in the LIF. Since I only have the 1 growler to send out, I need to do some sort of tiebreaker. I've been warned by my lawyers that my original idea of a KY-wrestling match is not advisable. So...

Guess my time (in minutes:seconds) ascending the Manitou Incline last night. Closest wins, no PIR. Please let me know TODAY so I have time to pack up the winner's box and ship tomorrow.

For reference, the Manitou Incline is an old cog railroad track that ascends a small mountain. It is quite popular here in Colorado Springs as a fitness challenge. This 1-mile long trail climbs approximately 2000 feet (starting around 6500 feet). At it's steepest section it boasts a 68% grade. I haven't had the time to drive over and do it for several months, so I'm out of practice...

Ever tried shaking two sticks? I haven't, nor do I intend to.

 

It said one entry per day per email. Does anyone else have more than one email? I also entered my wifes email but I missed the first few days because of the honeymoon. Fingers crossed.

 

I entered my 3 emails the first day...work, school and personal..but then some folks said that they'll notice the same name and info on all 3 and would take them out? or at least thats what I took from the rules so I finished the week with just using 1 email....

 

I kind of read the rules the same way...they would eliminate multiple entries with same name. I'd imagine the address would have to match up as well. I only entered once a day and my wife entered as well.

 

Hopefully we get lucky and get to go!

 

Did you go up the front side or the back side? I only did this once when I lived in CS, it SUCKED! the second time we went, I took the trail up and down, no steps for me.

 

rules were clear, once per day PER email. So I used all 4 of my email accounts. If they all them in, my odds are .0224, if not, .0056. Doesn't much matter...

I climbed the incline, then run down the 4 mile trail to get back. Way easier on the knees than going down the face of it.
