Clown Shoes: Chocolate Sombrero


This may not be Clown Shoes best offering but it is still pretty dang good.

Finishers:

Always excellent session IPL. Big hop flavors of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, guava, citrus rind, and pine; with some very light honey/bready malt presence and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Very crisp/sticky/resinous hop finish. Very drinkable with zero hop astringency despite the strong bitter finish. Always enjoyed this one since it's first release.


This is tasting better than I remember last years. Very nice stuff. Juicy and lightly tart fresh blueberries; with balanced toasted pie crust and light roast/chocolate maltiness. Balanced bitter finish with light creaminess/stickiness in the mouthfeel. Really enjoyed it, glad I grabbed a random single this year. This is actually fairly similar to the Shipyard smashed blueberry as well.


Haven't had an All Day in a while, forgot how much of a fantastic session IPA this was. Juicy hops of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with light honey/bready malts and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Nice medium bitter finish; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel; with a great robust and flavorful hop profile with balanced pale maltiness. I need to get this more often than I have been. I usually end up just buying more Centennial being that it is my go-to IPA.


My go to Oktoberfest along with the new Sierra Nevada. Big robust flavors of toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, and nutty malts; with light-moderate herbal/spicy hop flavor and balanced bitterness; with a nice medium-full bodied creamy/bready mouthfeel. Super clean and spot on every time. Love this beer so much!

This is another gem from @Hopgoddess312 , bottled 9/23.
She swore I had to drink it ASAP and I'm never one to not do what a lady tells me.
Even with the high brow hotel wine glass (thanks ART Hotel Denver) the floral notes come through crystal clear.

Absolutely stellar choice...

 

It was weird. Started off fine and everything up to lunch was routine more or less. After lunch the bank was dealing with ignorant people which isn't new at all but it started to build since I was involved. Then the last straw was a guy who is notorious for talking down to the women who work there while being an absolute idiot and he was at it again and I couldn't control it anymore. So I showed it (won't go into details) and ended up scaring a bunch of people and eventually cooled off but let's just say I gave a quick demo of what I can do.......Very few things get my blood boiling and today I frothed over....

 

union jack, they told me at the store that they don't get this fresh. I am guessing you will find this with two months old on the regular one if you are really lucky. Salud BA's.

The crazy thing is I was aware of it from the neighborhood in which the bank is located and the type of people in that neighborhood but it doesn't make it any easier to witness.
