Endlessly jealous of that view. Looks like you have a couple weeks yet before the colors peak? I could care less with that view though  Cheers.

Was in Austin a little over a month ago for a great friends bachelor party and had/missed the opportunity to have some Yellow Rose on tap at Easy Tiger, yet due to circumstances beyond my control, I found myself thoroughly enjoying a few Lone Star tallboys instead. That and a bunch of other things I can never mention are a few things I regret/cherish/am ashamed of from that glorious Trip...

    If I bought my 90 minute IPA 180 minutes ago and I drank it in 20 minutes...(90+a-(b) / 120 x 20(120/4)), does that mean it is a20 minute, I mean 40 minute IPA/ 20/120-90)...Oh crap, never mind.........Cheers !!!!!!

I had an Arktos Fairy Godmother pumpkin mead earlier. It was just plain INSANE. Full floral/citrusy honey sweetness with perfectly balanced pumpkin/cinnamon/ginger/nutmeg/clove spice with some oak/vanilla barrel notes on the finish. Super smooth with minimal warming for 14%, and very clean with minimal estery yeast notes. One of the best meads I've ever had. I will refrain from posting my personal pic so my post doesn't get deleted again. Use google.

Very nice! More of a White IPA though. Great head retention and dense lacing on this one. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, pine, wheat, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate amount of herbal/piney bitterness and peppery yeast spice on the finish; with a very smooth, crisp, and sticky finish with light bready wheat creaminess in the mouthfeel. Very dry finish from bitterness, with no astringency. Nicely balanced between yeast, hops, and spice. Really enjoyed this, did not expect a White IPA profile, but it worked well.

Damn good English strong ale! Aromas and flavors of big raisin, plum, fig, cherry, pear, apple, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toasted bread, and light roast; with herbal, floral, pepper, and piney hops. Moderate piney/spicy bitterness on the finish; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/hop sticky mouthfeel, with a touch of roast malt chalkiness in there. Really well balanced between dark malts, hops, and yeast fruitiness; along with bitterness/sweetness. A fair amount of dryness from bitterness, but not too dry. I would like to see this in a year or so, I bet this ages very well; similar to Avery Old Jubilation. A very similar beer to this one. I had the Avery at 1 year old when I reviewed it, but I still find this to be a bit better overall, even though it is fresh. Glad I bought an impulse 6 pack, I'll make sure to stash this off.(but probably will have a couple during the holidays anyway).

2014 BBA Flying Buffalo, absolutely incredible! Definitely way better than the 2013. Aromas and flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, toffee, vanilla, raisin, plum, fig, bourbon, toasted oak, and light char. Balanced bittersweet roasted finish; with an incredible balance and complexity of the barrel, malt, and dark fruit yeast notes. Full bodied with a big creamy/silky finish with slight slick/chalkiness in the mouthfeel from roast malts. Very smooth with minimal warming. Amazing stuff!

Pretty tasty pils. I figured I would start relatively light tonight.

Another IPA. The nose is underwhelming, but the taste and look is right.

Nice one from Hardywood, but I've had about 4 of their BA's, and all of them are extremely subtle on the B. Good flavor on this one, though, worth having the TSA violate my suitcase.... Cheers!

Keeping good on my word and having another WET. This beer gets better and better with each can!!! Tonight's meal is light (at least for now) which is a bunch of smoked meat sticks and a fruit salad with onions and oil.
