    I preferred 2014 (fresh hop mosaic) a bit more. Lemondrop hops weren't as good as I thought they were gonna be. Still delicious though 4.2/5

    Review :

    4.13/5 rDev +20.1%
    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

    Appearance : Pours a light chestnut color out of the bottle which develops into a shade of chocolate brown in the glass. The head is 2 fingers and stable, fluffy, leaving webby lace as it recedes.

    Smell : Cocoa powder, roast malts, coffee, Krackle bar. Very inviting.

    Taste : More coffee and roast malts than chocolate, which is okay. This is a very smooth porter. A little earth and nice hop bite but not too much. Fairly balanced, if a little staggered.

    Feel : Roasted, smooth, lightly creamy, ending with a polite dryness.

    Overall : This is a solid porter. I still don't know why this brewery doesn't get the ratings it deserves!

    respectfully disagree with the broad brush of condemnation re: music posts

    as I know I do...it negates the "nobody"

    and responses from other tuned in BA's would refute the statement as well..

    I bought my third sixer of this, also. A very nice Marzen that has grown on me more and more. Anybody that drinks beer could drink this, no problem. Weekend cheers![​IMG]
