    A couple of weeks ago I had one of these I had cellared a year. So I wanted to try it fresh. Well in my humble opinion this is good fresh but amazing with a year on it. I need to get a couple more bottles of it for the rot box. Who knows, maybe I will take one to two years and see how that fairs.

    Thanks man. I listen to pretty much every genre imaginable.....my taste in music is as diverse as my taste in beer.

    Gotta keep that open mind open! Enjoy your weekend, I have some hop trip but I might wait til next week

    Taking it easy tonight. I have a few hours of work related things in the late morning and some random errands and cooking to do before the Cubs game tomorrow night. Flipping through some new vinyl at the moment with The Mist on tv in the background and some music playing at a much quieter than normal level.

    First up was New Glarus's Pumpkin Pie Lust which was pretty good. Probably wouldn't buy it again though.

    Second beer, and much more enjoyable, is an Earl Grey pale ale from the folks at Wiseacre in Memphis. It's crazy, and good.

    finishing off the w00tstout bottle i drank half of last night.

    after being recapped and spending a night in the fridge, the beer tastes even better. delicious beer, great value.

    other than that, listening to a lot of pj harvey and playing around with visual studio.

    Almost 3pm Sat. afternoon here. Last day in Adelaide so I hit up the local micro-brewery, Shed Brewery, just a few blocks from our rental nearGrange Beach. Had a "paddle", and a pint, then brought a couple of bottles home:

    Their flagship is an APA - "F...Yeah". Lite malt foundation with subtle citrus(Cascade)flavor; still a little dank - so lots of flavor on an APA play! I'm all in.

    Rob the master brewer, and inside the brewery. Good stuff here! Cheers from down under!
