What's a good beer to make chili with?

    Bloodlust with jalepenos.

But really, any stout or porter is an excellent choice, IMO.

Might depend on the style of chili, but I'd guess a porter, stout, or brown ale would be safe bets. Spiced beers like winter warmers might work depending on the recipe, ditto for belgian quads. Very specific recipes might also work well with a fruit beer, if you're looking for some sweetness and fruity flavor to balance something out; similar idea with IPA if you're looking for bitterness to balance something out.

Hot pepper stouts (a la Mexican Cake, though I recommend one a little less .rar) would work too but personally I'd rather get my pepper flavor/heat from the peppers themselves and get just beer from the beer.

Just because that's the only good use for Habanero Sculpin doesn't mean it's the best choice :stuck_out_tongue:

Just go edit your post and add the intended "T"!

And, I love me some debauchery. 'Specially the drunken kind!

But, sadly, no Rare day for me.

Come on! How could I resist asswatery?

Its just an amazing word. It conjures visions, like the results of drinking Bud...

Had just enough time for a quick stop at Jester King for a pour of Aurelian since they weren't doing any pours last night.
