The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

I've had bad luck with bourbon releases the past two years, I work weird hours and/or have kids etc. Most places got 6 bottles of Birthday but all of the local shops got stiffed so it was only total wines bevmos that got them. I have relationships with the local places so i would have a chance to buy them but alas no luck. Bourbon is so frustrating because there are so many flippers and so many bottles make it to secondary market.

 

Totally agree. The state of the bourbon craze is awful. But don't worry...this will pass. There will be a new craze in the future that all the flippers will flock to! I for one can't wait.

 

@JNForsyth was right on how good it was. If we had opened it BEFORE going to Binny's I would have grabbed two, one for me and one for him!

 

There is someone that needs to explain a box on my porch. I took a 72 hour cleanse after our trip to Green Bay but I just opened the Breaking Bud that @andreizm sent me. Damn that's good! Will open box soon and call out the culprit.

The jersey was a game giveaway last year against the Cubs. Everybody wanted Gwynn's jersey.
That is one of my favorite pint glasses with the nice touch of the molded baseball on the bottom.
