VBS, haven't had this one for a while. Wasn't bottled pre-Green Flash and I always fill up on Nelson at the pub

    How is it?
I've heard some bad reviews of GF brewing Alpine's stuff

Been a while so its hard to say, tasty enough for a session ipa/pale ale though. Nelson was definitely different, but good in its own right.

BTW, when are you back home? Got some stuff I need to pack up for you

I had two those one Friday and Saturday. They were good. Not amazing, but quite hoppy and tasty. If those were consistently available across the footprint, I would be a buyer. Can't compare to the pre-GF Hoppy Birthday.

Just had it on Friday (picked it up in Milwaukee), really enjoyed it (as did the others I shared with). I had only had it once before, and that was a while ago, so couldn't really compare to pre-GF.

I tried both Duet and Hoppy Birthday this weekend, and liked both. The only other Alpine I've had is Nelson, and I didn't think these were as good, but that could be a function of Green Flash, or the hop bill, or my palate changing, or any number of reasons.

I won't be back until 11/7 although my brother lives with me so he grabs any boxes that show up while I'm gone

Does anyone make a triple IPA that's palatable? Drinking Tired Hands' Mrs Pigman and just like all other 3xIPA it's pure alcohol flavor.

I really liked Boneyard's Notorious, it's probably the most drinkable Tripa that I've had
