    In all seriousness though, I lament that I haven't got a big group of people I could share one of these with. I'm afraid I'll have to pass. Sad.

    Actually, just realized those hold 5L, so that would be a hell of a task to do solo.

    5L = 169 oz. So at 10% abv, that would be like drinking 28 "standard" beers.

    I have trouble picking up any subtle notes of rarity when drinking from a mini keg

    I took one down once over two nights. Never in my life have I felt so unhealthy.

    Last time around they were $39.99 in Ohio IIRC.

    Unless you use a tap w/CO2 cartridge, like the Party Star unit.

    That's the sort of tap that was often used back in the 1960s when many US brewers offered 1 gallon cans.

    (These were cheaper than that 80 buck Party Star :rolling_eyes:. I used to pick them up for a buck or so at flea mkts/garage sales).
