It'll be a raffle to get bottles, not details on which ones they will have. I am a big fan of Beer Study, but there will be better options elsewhere.

Wonder if we'll get Regal Rye after getting shut out on vanilla last year?

 

Spoke with a few GI reps at a recent event. They expected similar results this year.

The local beer store owner I talked to said NC was getting Regal and Rare, but may not get any Coffee this year.

 

That would be kind of weird, but I'll take that tradeoff. I only got 1 single bottle of coffee last year anyway and I tried pretty hard.

 

I certainly hope that's the case. It makes me wince at the thought at what some my charge for the 16.9oz bottles this year.

 

Haven't seen anything "official," but I heard (what I'll qualify for now as a rumor) that Lowes Foods Beer Den locations will be getting 5 cases of BCBS each.

 

A little birdie told me that we are getting it at my shop as well, definitely BCBS and possibly A variant. Ill report back when I hear the final details, so I dont get anyones hopes up or have a lynch mob at my door lol.

 

AFAIK, MSRP is $10 for BCBS, $15 for variants and $60 for Rare. I have heard that Rare may be less at certain places, as the wholesale is $42.

 

We'll see if Rare ever actually sees the for-sale shelf at any point.

 

Bottle Rev-RDU posted that they're getting Rare. If they're getting it, I assume a lot of places will get it.

Just saw that, sweet! They also said they would have Regal on draft as well as bottles. Was not expecting to see it on draft anywhere.

 

Um, that's a damn nice beer and I'll happily snag some bottles

 

I mean it's a good beer, sure. I don't think anyone will be lining up early to get their hands on it. But hey, knock yourself out.

 

I think I am just going to try it on draft, I dont want to deal with a raffle. Donuts and coffee is a nice touch too. Then Al's next door <3
