Dude, that's like wearing the shirt of the band who you're going to see, not cool.

I end up buying brewery tshirts when I'm drunk at breweries/festivals. Only wear them to friends houses drinking or in my own house drinking. Maybe if I was still in my 20s I'd wear beer clothes in public.

...or a planet fitness shirt while working out at planet fitness. It just looks like you're all on their tip. I also think matching a hat and a shirt with the same brewery is over the top. Also wearing a x brewery cap w/ a y brewery shirt is silly....like those jackets that have every NBA team logo on it...maybe it's like saying their a fan of basketball in general or beer in general, but i wouldn't dress like that.

I don't really get bothered by any of the above. I just find it looks goofy, but as long as the wearer is happy with their apparel selection, i don't care.

I used to wear a lot of brewery swag, but then I realized people are either gonna think I'm permanently 20 or I'm an alcoholic. So over the years, I've ended up giving away or donating most of my brewery shirts. But I did drop almost $50 on TRVE Brewery's dope-ass hoodie a few months ago. That's about all the beer swag I got now.

buy The Abyss t-shirt every year since '10, got a BBB t-shirt at Epic this year, and have one from River Dog Brewing in SC from a family trip a few years ago (it says 'Quality Control' on the back and is my favorite)... living in Montana almost every beer shirt is macro or a NASCAR logo so I like to wear them to be different, also don't really care what anyone thinks of me so have that going as well

Totally for it. Supports the breweries you love, good advertising for them. But don't do matchymatch with my man, only one of us sports it when we are out. Fine line

Brewery T's make for a good conversation starter at breweries or beer bars. That can be good or bad depending on how you view conversing with strangers. I agree with wearing a shirt to THAT particular brewery unless you are trying to blend in with the staff. As far as people wearing several items from the same brewery, I guess I never notice unless there is something else about them that would draw my attention to them, but I can sort of see where the OP and others are coming from with the whole "fanboy" resistance. Band T's and sports T's (or jerseys and sweaters and such) I give much more leniency to. Maybe because I indulge in band and team "spirit". What we really need to ask ourselves though, is would you rather see brewery/sports/bands represented or see lots of apparel from those Duck hillbillies?

People like to brag. It's basic human nature and we're all guilty of it. Thats why we have Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and countless threads on these forums where people can show off their beer hauls and whatnot. Wearing brewery gear is just another way to show-off your love for beer. I have quite a few freebie beer shirts and a few I've bought over the years, but most of the time they're underneath a jacket or flannel because even in the summer, it gets chilly here at night.

I have logo work shirts from a few different breweries. I don't mind advertising for a brewery whose beer I enjoy. I have been asked over 50 times "Do you work for Stone brewery?" because of my Arrogant Bastard shirt.
I travel extensively for business and visit breweries and taprooms wherever I go. The brewery logo wear can be a conversation starter when it's from a place folks have never heard of or perhaps a place where they would like to visit.

I used to have a Busch tossle cap, it had cans of Busch knitted into it. I lost it.

I dunno, there's something different about wearing a t-shirt from a local brewery that's just getting started and you know the $20 you paid for the t-shirt might make a difference versus wearing a t-shirt that has a picture of the Beatles on it, or Goose Island, or some billion dollar ballclub that pays grown men millions to play a child's game.
