    Cold and wintery outside here in Mid Michigan although I wouldn't really know because I have been inside all day! Enjoyed watching Michigan find a way to win against a not very good Penn State team(with help from the officials). Rooting for MSU to lose today because I refuse to want Ohio State to win.

    I'm really digging this beer more than I thought i might. The heat is a little on the high side for me, but as a sipper it works well.

    Hey BA's! Coming up on 5 here in dusky NOVA & I'm back in turkey mode. On to this...thing:

    This beer quite literally smells like pee. The flavor is a little more interesting. It tastes like an evil banana & a burnt orange broke into your house & hid in a crawl space for a year. At the end of that year, they spring out & proceed to beat your mouth to death. Yeesh.

    This tune is just too perfect:

    Here is my Turkey Beer Day offering. I picked this up as part of one of the worst mix-a-six packs I ever made earlier this year in MI. Without checking dates I ended up with a 2 year old DIPA as well as this, which has no date but could be at least a year old. Has been sat in the back of my fridge ever since. Feeling a little conflicted as I like this brewery's beers usually.

    Poured a thin, watery body with a light orange-yellow profile. Kicked up a big head from the pour which dissipated swiftly. Wasn't good - the taste made me think of someone trying to make cold brew coffee with year old Folgers grounds topped off with the grim powdered creamer that you find in office cabinets. Feel like I should track down a fresh bottle so I can make up for it.

    Quickly dispatched some and poured the rest so I could crack open a fresh Fistmas. Definitely not a Turkey!
