    BA's! 'Tis 8:00 here in NOVA & I'm here with my second-to-last available turkey beer:

    Disclaimer: I love DC Brau, these guys are killing it right now. Except, right now, this beer is killing me. This is, without a doubt, the WORST 'Belgian' style Pale to have ever passed my lips. It smells like what a banana plantation might smell like if it caught some sort of blight & was subsequently burned down. It tastes like cardboard-infused banana ice cream with just a hint of butthole. This brew is beyond black-sheep status for them, I'm not even sure why in the world they're still canning it. Urf!

    One of the most unpleasant songs that I can conjure:

    My goal tonight was to drink only Virginia craft beer but I had only one Virginia IPA. So I had to veer slightly from the plan and place in the rotation a non-Virginia brewed IPA. Never had a white IPA but since this is brewed by New Belgium it probably is good. Starting tomorrow, I will be in NC and intend to drink only NC brewed beer. Hope they have some good IPAs.

    Stone Xocoveza -- amazing price of 11.99 makes it that much sweeter. Thanks to all of you for making this otherwise likely to be passed up by me brew something that actually landed on the radar loud on clear. It has lived up to the hype.

    Pairs well with Between the Buried and Me - Coma Ecliptic
