Ryan from Odd13 here. We canned Codename: Superfan again today. As I mentioned before, we brought the IBU down from 100 calculated to 80 calculated, and replaced the Citra with Equinox. The new cans say "2.0" after "This is a test". We're sincerely interested in hearing what you think about the changes. Feel free to post here or PM me. We already have one more tweak in mind for 3.0, which might be the last thing we change before we consider the recipe to be where we want it.

It hit two super-local accounts tonight and it will hit about 20 more tomorrow. After that, it will be into next week before any more accounts get it because of the holiday.

I'll be at La Cumbre tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. Project Dank has a really good rating on BA but I noticed when reading up on La Cumbre's website that they said that Dank is constantly evolving. The recipe is always different. Which means the batches will not be consistent. So I guess you need to sample the current batch before deciding how good it is?

I will hopefully be trying Superfan 2.0 in a couple weeks. I do think it needs a touch more malt.

Yeah. Just like Pipeworks...and those rumors came true! I guess until I see Elevated sitting in Mr. B's I'll continue my steady diet of Superpower, Odell, and the S26 variants.

We used to get Marble in CO for a few years, but they pulled out. They also closed their taproom in Santa Fe as well. I think their beers are every bit as good as La Cumbre and Bosque. The way I look at it, I'd rather have them stay out of the area if it's straining their finances or if freshness is an issue. It isn't that far to drive down and get it...plus red chili.

You don't need to sample Project Dank first ever. It's delicious always. If they have Father Nelson around though, drink all of it.

I really miss Marble being here. The IPA and the Red were both great, and also the Reserve Ale.

So I filled 3 64oz growlers yesterday. Don't judge me but they are gone already :slight_frown:

I'll be heading back over today to refill

16 beers in less than 24 hours? Either you had help taking those down or you should take an Uber there :stuck_out_tongue:

You drank... 1 and a half gallons of juicy banger... by yourself? That's quite impressive.

I was home and going no where.
Brother was here drinking with me. 2 growlers of Nelson IPA (I think it's the best IPA they make) and 1 of Juicy Banger.

Nelson is almost gone, I think we are down to our last 2 kegs. We also have Single Hop Apollo on at the brewery.

Lukas has the Citra and is getting Chinook in tomorrow, but I don't believe it's on sale. Grapevine is the biggest discount I'm aware of at $7.49/6er.

Here's a link to our Can Finder map if you want to check any specific store: http://www.station26brewing.co/#cans

I love Elevated and Full Nelson is just as great. Elevated is, IMO, better than any packaged IPA offered in Colorado, which I admittedly have not had all off. And Full Nelson is, IMO, maybe as good as my favorite packaged IIPA, Odell's Myrcenary. Project Dank I really liked but not nearly as much as those two. Dank is a rotating recipe, though, so my lone experience could be an outlier and next time I try it I am might just love it.

I got to try the Bosque IPA over this past weekend and was underwhelmed. Halfway through my pint, I was bored with it. I keep hearing good things about it though so I am going to have to revisit that one I guess. Maybe it was just the wrong time and place for me?
