Actually drank a Montmaretto tonight. WW puts out way too much beer, unfortunately (?) most of its really quite good so I end up picking up most of the bottles they put out unless they don't do a pre-sale and don't go to distro (which does occasionally happen with them). I liked Bombadile pretty well though a couple friends of mine thought the strawberry tasted a bit weird (I didn't get that at all).

Had a conversation with Erika today in which I attempted to explain this. She just didn't get it. Insists on making us look bad

 

Nope - this is great. My favorite blend since '14 or maybe '13. love the crossover between barleywine/stout(clearly parabola). I also get a bit of the cola flavors from Stickee. ~4.65 for me.

 

Montmorretto was a surprise pinnacle of WTF for me as well.

Shit, if I'd known that I'd have sent the bottle I just drank to you as opposed to drinking it.

 

Unless you object, I'm bombing you with hyper local good breweries in the form of growlers/crowlers.

First of all, outstanding bottle. Second, I'm still 2 hour behind CST and even if I wanted to peek at my Day 2 beer, there'd be no one here to witness it..

Like a young Mike Tyson @NJB145 is trying to go for the first round knock out. But really he is more like Clubber Lange from rocky III he might beat me at first but I can smell a comeback. Maybe with the help of @PG2G and a little beach running Montage I can get back in the fight.
