Yeah I was just joshing him. I've twice now thought about stalking BCBS (Shadyside, Hal's) and then balked at the last minute on both.

To me, it's the lack of probability that I'll even get anything that holds me back. For Gratitude day for example, I knew they had a lot and I knew that if I got there early I would get plenty. That didn't bother me and I'll happily do it again this year. But the dropping everything and running to a store to stand in line to maybe get something is way past tiring to me.

I went to EE at like 4 on Gratitude day and walked out with like 7 Grat and 5 BA.

Thanks -- I avoid fb as much as possible, to the point that most of the time it doesn't even occur to me to check there. I didn't see it on the BG's actual website and immediately came here.

Awesome! Thanks! Gonna see if I can get out of my horribly out of shape rut enough in the next 3 days to actually do yoga in public. If not, I'll probably just come drink.

What ever happened to the Thursday night shares. I know they are not practical for all, but they actually work out kind of well for me, especially closer to the holidays.

I just had a bottle of the BA Neapolitan. Pretty tasty stuff. Vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry are infinitely more interesting in beer than in ice cream.
I'd suggest we get together this Thursday, but I've got yoga. Anybody want to drink some beers at Victory Pointe in South Side on Friday the 11th?

I blame @HunterPGH for the lack of shares and in general for being a dildo. :grinning:

Well pin a rose on your nose.

But seriously, I went back to my car and watched Netflix. It wasn't a big deal. I didn't know what to expect from it either so I got there pretty early. I had never been and had heard it could be a madhouse.

I have had the regular Neapolitan several times and they still haven't struck the right cord in terms of balance of the three flavors but the BA version is very yummy.

I would suggest we have a share a BG but I'm guessing that yoga is in the same room the last share was in. Plus BG didn't invite us.

I would be surprised if me being a dildo had an impact on the number of bottle shares. I would host one this Thursday or an upcoming Thursday if there was any interest. I tried to get us in a E2 but I guess no one wants to pay $60 to drink their own beer, go figure.

Your Dildocity has everything to do with everything and you know it.

It's as if we wait until @london1o1 has plans and then try to get a share going

It's all coming together nicely. Now we just need him to stop by and drink 8 beers before a date and the plan will be complete!

Did I get confused and go to the wrong page here? This is a public forum, right?

I really liked the cookie stout. The coconut and sugar made it taste like a sugar cookie. I thought it was better than the base and hope to see it again.

Is it just me that think that Sam Adams needs to get back to innovating rather than copying. I really think that this company is on the BMC track where that try to monopolize space rather than win it with better products. I want to see a Sam Adams that is innovative again. A leader instead of a follower. They discontinued a lot of great beers so that we could have another mediocre IPA, Session IPA, double IPA and now Short life IPA. (I can't say this is mediocre because I haven't had it yet and I liked the session IPA but it didn't sell well.)
