True, but we saw 10-12 a can last time as well from other places. The point I was making was that this will continue to happen until they either produce more (unlikely given the whole gypsy situation) or land a brick and mortar--neither of these scenarios seem likely to happen soon. Not knocking the Grimm's at all, they're absolutely crushing it, just saying that for me its gotten too expensive/time consuming to get these cans.

I'm not knocking Grimms either, it's absolutely great beer, just on the higher end of what I can afford to drink regularly.

    I don't think it's Grimm, I think it's the stores.

A few pages back (34, at the bottom) the Grimm BA account was upset at 9th Avenue for charging $12.99 a can.

I agree the prices are high (usually $4-$6 a can) but it's still cheaper than trading for TH/HT/HF.

Yea, if the cans are priced where Grimm suggests then they are in line with other packaged IPAs from NYC breweries. Factor in that Grimm has to pay a distributor to get the beer from VA to here, and they probably should be priced a little higher. The gouging is all on the stores, not Grimm.

Sorry, but I wasn't trying to imply it was Grimm at all! And I'll happily pay $18 for a 4 pack, if I'm lucky enough to find one.

Their other beer is not marked up as substantially as Grimm. I think they do enjoy the profits but I also think it is their way of spreading cans out. Completely agree though the gouging on Grimm feels exorbitant.

we know Blake at hops and hocks. He's a good guy. But $8 to-go is too much. We'll have Union reach out.

We work hard to get our price down to $5/can, but whenever we see a place charging a bit more we remind ourselves just how hard it is to make a living in a to-go beer shop.

They went fast at Milk and Hops. A very kind soul had grabbed the last two cans right before I walked in and generously gave me one. Now that's beer karma I will pay forward!

Crazy, Milk & Hops never even posted on social media that they were available, as far as I could tell. People are just ready to pounce.

Damn. I didn't think they would get it this fast. They got the Tesseract a little late a few weeks ago, which worked out good for me.

Yeah, I was just lucky (well, double lucky). Happened to go there yesterday to try Regal Rye and was looking at their Untappd at the right time.

I was fortunate enough to get a 4-pack today. Gave the dude at my local shop a can of Baby Diamonds and AGE and he gave me the 4-pack for $10. I ain't mad.

FYI: Blake left Hops and Hocks a while ago. You need to contact the new female buyer at the store.
