It would be simple to call a store. If you prefer people calling out legitimate business online rather than calling them to resolve, that's fine. I asked that poster if he/she called the store before since I was not over charged. Really, is that now a problem? Someone suggesting a civil solution before a social media post?

If that's the case, fine. Mishuggah was a dick in their reply to me and I responded in kind. My initial post was an honest question.

So, why don't we all just calm down?

 

This is so awkward, I can't even handle it.

 

I bought Jones Dog at Binnys Bolingbrook this afternoon around 5 PM for $14.99, which I believe is the price listed in the original FwB post a couple pages back.

 

We didn't know the prices were wrong, but we confirmed info with them around noon today, which would explain why it is fixed now. Sorry for the mistake. Typing on phone now will post more later when at keyboard. Thanks for the info. It is helpful.

 

Heard a few different rumors about them getting their license revoked. Not 100% sure why it happened, so not going to post rumors. Supposedly someone is going to reopen in their place, but as of this weekend when I drove past it is still closed.

 

I wonder if these guys feel any shame whatsoever seeing photos of themselves posted online.....

E&B liquors in Tinley. $19.99 for a hyper dog. It was $17.99 earlier. Upped the price when he realized he had a hot product.

 

Ha, why does this not surprise me about that place. These guys are all about the gouging.

 

I'm guessing the ones not turned don't have jobs.

 

I was glad to be able to grab a Jones Dog, but the craziness to grab one of these kinda wore on me. That's most likely due to the effort expended the prior week to get BCBS. And it basically made me not try and chase down Darkness at all, too.

I'll be back to waiting in line or trying to time it right for some high demand release at some point, but I need a bit of a break. I'm excited to try Killer Queen, though!

 

I live about 100 yards from e and b liquors in Tinley. They used to be a good spot, but in the last year or two the pricing has become ridiculous. All pipeworks there are overpriced. Pipeworks should just start giving any of e and b's allocation to The Open Bottle. Really wish I could support the local corner liquor store, but havent stepped foot inside since I paid something like $16.99 or $17.99 for a Sure Bet several months ago.

Back in 2012 he was selling BCBS Coffee bombers for $12.99 or $13.99, might have been a mistake, but I was happy to buy a couple.

 

Are all of the Barrel aged beers hitting the suburbs this week too or will it not hit until next week?
