    Agreed! Except when they're infected... we've had over a dozen of them (including Caoconut, White Chocolate) we got through the Reserve Society like that, but they made things right and credited for the bottles plus covered shipping on the order... fingers crossed for the ton of bottles we've got left to drink

    Doubling down on gifted beers. Speaking of double, this one is from @Shroud0fdoom 's evil twin separated at birth @SomethingClever Not as much maple as I was hoping for, but it is definitely there. I admit to being a biased maple junkie. A very solid barleywine here.

    Long day. Spent most of it in Joplin, MO. Had to get my Father-in-law some new specs. Some other shopping, to include beer. Was thrilled to see all that Ballast Point on the shelf, despite the price point. We then had lunch at Instant Karma; the Wife & I had a steak & lobster burrito that was so tasty, I washed it down with a Grapefruit Sculpin, yum. Fast forward we are beefing with my oldest over standard teenage crap. He does the wounded youth role well. Now it is time for some beer. First up; Habenero Sculpin...

    Happy Wednesday BAs! Just in a great mood for some reason today :slight_smile: Enjoying another from the mix six pack my brother gave me for my birthday.

    Really gorgeous beer. A deep ruby with caramel head that retains and laces beautifully. The nose is a little subdued and disappointing. Get hints of citrus, pine, resin, dank, earthiness, bready malts. The flavor is the same, but with much more pop. Overall, a really nice APA in #properglassware which is a rarity for me!
