Dinner last night @ WF Columbus Circle was great. Food was pretty good, beer obviously awesome, very cool to meet the Grimms and hear what they had to say about their business. Nice surprise with the tapping of Echoplex right after too.

Cloudbusting comp to white sangria is pretty spot on. You could probably throw a couple ounces of club soda and fruit and serve it to someone who isn't into DIPAs and literally pass it off as sangria. Such a unique and interesting beer.

Also enjoyed the side by side of regular DN and BBDN - confirmed my preference for regular DN and I honestly think it's the perfect stout. Wish I could drink it all winter.

$9 is a lot. Seen most places have them for $5.99

How the hell does Beer Table stay in business? I would never buy anything from them.

Yeah that's true. I guess it doesn't matter to those folks, but it's not even close to competitive pricing. Being in a huge commuter hub helps their cause though, as you pointed out.

Found 2 more cans on LI in Suffolk during my lunch break. BM me if you want to know location. Don't feel like sharing publicly for all those 'lurkers'.

beer table is priced like a bar, which is how the commuters that keep them in business use it. I really miss their actual bar.

Grimm should make cloudbusting t shirts, I think this is their best artwork yet.

They have a very similar markup to what you would find at the carts slinging deuce deuce's of Bud Heavy. They're in one of the priciest buildings in NYC in regards to rent per sq ft so their prices are reflected accordingly.

** just got a 16oz bottle of regular green iced tea today in GCT for $4 that's $2.49 at CVS in my hood bc I was thirsty. Just a lil insight.

If you don't mind me asking:

    1. Are any of the other beers still on? and
    2. Do you think Echoplex will still be on this evening or is it likely to kick earlier?

    Thanks!

Just had my first cloudbusting and I like it but not blown away. Grimm has set the bar pretty high. Way more white wine notes and softer fruits. Great job but I'd rather see pulse wave come back than this.

    From the dipas I've had:
    1. Tesseract
    2. Lambo door
    3. Pulse wave
    4. Afterimage
    ...
    5. Cloudbusting

Too bad we won't see Lambo cans.

We changed our mind on this. We're about to brew a single IPA on Wednesday and release it draft only, so no cans next month. The month after, we are releasing Lambo cans and doing our largest can run to date.
