As far as IPAs, I likely prefer some of the other offerings that Grimm has done, but Cloudbusting has been the most enjoyable experience. It was such a different take on an IPA and wonderful showcase of hops. Just so different from everything else out there at the moment. Pear puree with white sangria notes.

    Well done again!!

Cloudbusting is so great, probably the best use of NZ hops that I've ever tasted.

On top of the $7.50 can of Cloudbusting (to go)... you can get a pour of Tesseract for $13 at Cannibal...

Absolutely gross! That place has great beer and good food, but the prices absolutely suck. Once was enough for me. Your avatar sums it up.

Cloudbusting reminds me of Kent Falls waymaker IPA. A brett IPA without the brett

If you liked Waymaker, check out Sweatpants from them. Same beer but with a clean ale yeast instead of Brett. Super good.

I stopped going to the Cannibal awhile ago. The prices are a joke there.

Had my 1 can of Tesseract tonight. Absolutely fantastic and delicious! Gave some to my wife, who is on non beer drinker and thinks they all taste the same, and she said she could drink this all the time. Told her I would too if it wasn't so hard to get.

I put this up there as one of the best DIPA's!

And not expensive as I would've expected of them: $5.99 a can. They usually inflate their prices something awful.

I was actually surprised how much I liked Cloudbursting, very similar to alter ego, just missing that bite alter ego has. I have to get a can of tesseract to try it again, might have not had it in optimal conditions.
