Can someone with knowledge post what differentiates masamuto vs standard fruit? I've asked had excellent masamuto peach sours in the past so I just assume they are an heirloom variety with extra flavor

Awesome, thanks for the intel. I had previously only heard it verbally and had confused it with Morimoto of Iron Chef notoriety (among other talents). Sounds like both families are doing good culinary work

Masumoto peaches have been used in previous iterations of Lost Abbey's Veritas beers, Track #11 (I think?) as well as in Highland Park beers (Lazy Susan). The Bruery has used them before, I *believe* in A La Mode and one of the earlier batches of Sour In The Rye. Beer aside, those peaches fresh are pretty freaking amazing.

Girlfriend had I are polishing off our last bottle. Ridiculously smooth. It's like regular bt but with less vanilla/coconut and more caramel.

I donated my last '09 bottle this year to Brews for New Avenues, a Portland beer event/rare beer auction which raises money for a local charity. It was part of a 6-year vertical (I also donated the '10-'13 bottles). The package eventually went for $450. Seems about right.

Terreux preview was probably my favorite Bruery event in the last 2 years. Lineup was terrific, the pairings were excellent, and just had a great time overall. Brewers were engaged, got to check out the facility, and see the blue print for the new tasting room. Highlights were Room for Me the new nectarine sour, Blueberry Cream Oude Tart and Sans Pagaie with Vanilla was ridic. Really well done event!

Jeremy told me that SP was double cherries. not sure why they didnt include that info. tasted like cherry pie! Hopefully the rest of it makes it to the tasting room in the new year.

I felt like 2014 SP tasted heavier on cherries from recent memory.

Yesterday was awesome in pretty much all facets. Only nit pick was with18 tastes in 90 minutes it kinda felt rushed. Didn't get checked in for almost 20 so that added to the fact. Extend the window 30 minutes and pre check ids and it would have been perfection.

Was there any indication which beers would see society release next year?
