Lunch is done and everyone has scattered to take care of last minute holiday loose ends, leaving me to walk across the road and to settle in at a great bar, a 2 block walk from father in law's house, with a pint of Brooklyn's Black Chocolate Stout (10%):

Rolling into the holidays proper: Three mile run completed, a Little Sumpin Extra in the flute, my second favorite Christmas song in the background, and Jim Carey's Grinch tour de force on tap for the family's eve. Stress button is now on pause so we can all enjoy and give thanks for that which is most precious to us: family. A Christmas shout out to all you BA hopheads and a special holiday blessing from a grateful nation to my son and all the other fine men and women serving overseas. Stay safe boys and girls!

I don't blame you one bit, bro! Ice underneath fresh snow is for sure NOT a fun or safe time! I don't miss that at all!
I do miss seeing the snow fall outside the window and being warm and cozy inside...but that wears off pretty quickly and I wish it was warm out and no snow on the ground!

Doing some housework getting ready for tomorrow. Sipping on some extremely local. The name reminds me of my favorite Christmas movie too.

********* caught her cousin Eddie trying to get into one of my gifts early last night.

My beer fridge was shaking and making a lot of noise, like it was going to explode or lift off. Opened it to find these bottles dancing around Enjoying this one on the deck. El Nino for MVP and Ba of the year!

It's messed up that you were in my house while I was talking with my wife but did you have to film it too?

 

Some chores done. Laundry, a bit of cleaning, made some guacamole. The afternoon session has begun! Unreal weather for this time of year. Sunny and about 50. I never thought I'd be sitting out on the deck now but I am. Reading and drinking my 2nd Backwoods Bastard.
