It's kind of annoying but I understand why stores do that and I put up with it. When they are forced to buy a bunch of Product X (that won't move) to get an allocation of Product Y its hard for me to blame them for bundling them. A 4 bottle set is excessive though, I had to buy one Perennial bottle.

I don't have a big problem with just one bottle. I have too many stouts as it is and buying one of their other beers would be good for my fridge. Haha. What other bottle did you pick up by the way?

Meriweather, their collab with The Commons. It's unfortunate but nobody seems to give a damn about Perrenial beyond Sump and Abraxas lol

I was actually intrigued by Perennial's fruited berliners/goses they recently put out. Anyone get a chance to try any of them?

Perennial's Hopfentea is pretty delicious if you can find it. Really fruit-forward.

As for buying extra bottles of Perennial just to get Abraxas...I saw on Instagram that a very reputable store justified it by alluding that Perennial makes them buy a ton of beer just to have a chance at getting Abraxas.

I thought Suburban Beverage their Gose with key lime was very good, the only beer I've had from them so far.

Trust us, Abraxas was not just handed to us. Stores that supported Perennial throughout the year are the only one that got Abraxas. Most stores i am sure purchased 3 other Perennial beer (not abraxas) to secure a case of Abraxas.

Provisions has a one bottle limit on Abraxas. No need to buy anything extra.

Pretty sure thats not what their referring to. I believe they're talking about having to buy multiple cases of other Perennial to ensure their store gets Abraxas.

$25-$30 for 750 ml of imp chili stout is a bit much especially when you can pick up a sixer of xocoveza for about $15 or so.

$25 is the coin they wanted for Mexican Cocoa Falling Leaf by H24 and that brew was abysmal. It was like a terrible homebrew.

BTW, Abraxas is not going on the shelves at Provisions. They're saving it for a event, according to staff.

And they wondered why membership sales were slow.

Don't want to commit to an entire bottle of Abraxas? 38° Alehouse in Alhambra is tapping it today!

You guys know of anywhere to buy shippers in LA? I know Uhual has them online, and the boxzone in LBC and OC, but looking for somewhere more in central LA.

What's the going rate? The box zone has 12 bottle shippers with a box for $13 sounds like a fair price.

Any decent wine store should have them for about $8.
