That rubber grommet should be removed first. That was a block off plug. That hose was never easy to get in there. Requires some gentle squeezing and twisting with out cutting the thin blower hose on the edge of the sheetmetal. Then use a self drilling sheetmetal screw through the eyelet in the little wire holder on end.

You should check the door and the door gasket. Looks crooked.

Doug bm23 doors are mounted kinda cocked so they close when open.

When everything straightened out you should pic up the drain grate for $40 would make it look a hell of a lot nicer

Where did you come up with a balance of 9lb psi? 9psi sounds kinda low. Not sure v/v of this beer but don't be surprised if pours look a little sloppier tomorrow from being under carbed.

Definitely picking up that grated drip tray. It was on my
To-do list but I want to make sure everything is in working order prior to pumping more $$ into the unit itself.

I also have a question regarding 2 or 3 way gas distribution for a single tower unit (ideally id like to get a two tap stainless tower with perlick-quality taps but I'm not sure if I'm ready to spend that much $$$ right now since I'm trying to get setup for kegging my homebrews).

Id like to have the ability to have a keg (commercial or corny) on tap and simultaneously force carbonate 1-2 cornys (via set it and forget it method). It would also be nice to be able to switch from keg to keg on the fly and dispense through the same tap.

I discussed this with the local draft beer store and he set me up with a 3 way gas distributor like this with the appropriate gas lines

    http://rapidswholesale.com/beer-sup...ctors/distributors/3-way-co2-distributor.html

    A few questions:
Is this the best route or should I just add a "y splitter" to my regulator?
Can this gas distributor be easily mounted to the back inside of the bev-air with some small sheet metal screws without damaging the unit? What if I added a PVC board and mounted with adhesive and screwed into the PVC instead?

What other hardware (besides the single sanke coupler and dual gauge regulator that I already have) do I need to accomplish what I want to do?

I've been looking at getting a sanke to ball lock conversion kit like this http://www.cornykeg.com/resources/corny-keg-tips/converting-sanke-ball-lock-keg/ so that the coupler can be easily swapped from commercial to corny, but in order to force carbonate the corneys while the other keg is tapped won't I need more couplers or ball lock connections to actually be able to carbonate?

As always thanks for the assistance! Loving learning this draft beer thing.

Ideally you would want to distribute the CO2 with the ability to have different pressures to each line. This manifold is cheaper than doing a bank, more expensive than doing a Y, but not the best solution.

I realize I can replace my current regulator with one that can regulate with different pressures at each line. Contemplating if it's worth the extra expense at this time given that I have one tap. my kegerator temp (consistently in the 38f range thus far and pouring perfect at about 9-10 psi seems to sync up just about with the homebrew set it and forget it temp chart for the styles I brew, so if something is on tap waiting a week or two for the homebrew to carbonate shouldn't be a big deal or affect beer quality. Either way id still need additional couplers/ ball lock attachments for the second and third lines, correct?

You can do it the way you are proposing, cheapest option is the Y. Make sure it has shut offs though. You will need the additional ball lock attachments.

Thanks Doug, only thing missing is the ball lock attachments at this time, as the store provided me with a 3 way gas distributor with shut off valves for about $25. Just debating if I should return that now and upgrade to a secondary regulator instead. The other annoying part is that the convenience of the sanke to ball lock conversion kit may be limited with this setup, as I'll still need at least the gas in ball lock attachment for the corny to carbonate while the sanke keg is tapped.

Dual tower and secondary regulator could be nice for sure...just don't think I'm ready to take the plunge $$$ wise (my hockey skates just crapped out last night so I'm looking at a good chuck of $$ for a new pair haha!)

    No harm in going slow.
