Needs to be a gallon so it can be enjoyed over the course of one album.

Seems they sold out (hopefully, only temporarily) - I have my cousin in Norway trying to get me two bottles. My plan was to bring them to EBF for a pre-fest bottle share. Looks like @Roguer and @TomMorris are closest to Boston. I'll let you know if I'm successful - In my time of need, indeed!

Does this beer start out brutal, full of flavor, and intensity, and finish mellow and light?

Opeth back in their old-school days is still one of my favorite bands. Plus that bottle is beautiful, and being an imperial stout at 9.2% abv, I'd wager it tastes pretty good, too.

It would take me roughly two of their albums to finish that beer as is. 750ml of a big imperial stout takes me 2-3 hours.

If anyone had sent a request via email, you should have gotten notification that 600 bottles are up for grabs to US customers! I just ordered 5 bottles. 60 GBP for bottles, 60 GBP for shipping. Pricey, but will make some GREAT metalhead gifts (to myself and friends). Cheers and GOOD LUCK!

Damn! It would cost $140 for 2 bottles......I'm such a huge fan of them, but can't drop that kind of cash right now.

Probably flat shipping for up to 6 bottles is my guess, as it was 180 for 5 bottles.

Ah! That would make sense. Because it was $18.20/bottle and then they wanted $92.00 for shipping + tax. Man, if I had the money I'd buy as many as I could haha. Plus that bottle looks so badass with the Opeth O.

Looks like it's $500 (335 GB pounds) total for 20 bottles. If you can find a bunch of friends to split, $20 per bottle not bad at all!

It's pretty tasty. Lots of dark fruit, tobacco, and a nice velvety mouthfeel.

it always amazes me how people can get carried away by the false promise of glory in a bottle. If looks are what you go by rather than flavour then you're missing the point, the beer is the thing, and this, IMHO, fails to deliver as an Imperial Stout. Nice, but nothing special.
