Prairie - BA Bomb and Ape Snake

This is fantastic news re: BA Bomb! Will be purchasing a case, at least.

 

So you've had the Coffee Okie?? It's not out yet in TX.

 

A case??? if you can do that I'm interested in a trade

 

He lives where they're based out of. From what I've heard, the supply is pretty much endless there and what not. I'm lucky to get a case of their limited stuff and I'm a retailer.

 

Hmmm.....didnt realize they would be that easy to get in state. I wonder what other reasons I could come up with to visit Oklahoma other than the BA Bomb release. Im sure I can find something.

 

Probably not. No disrespect to OK but it's kind of boring. The only reason I've gone in the past is my ex's folks lived in Norman. I've also thought about going to OKC to 'stalk' Wayne Coyne.

 

Oh boy I didn't wanna be the one to say it. But now a Texas man says it. Oklahomian's or whatever are gonna get fired up now.

 

Could take it or leave it on Ape Snake, but BA BOMB! sounds amazing!

 

I actually liked Norman! It's just boring.

 

Yeah I trade with someone in OK so that's how I was able to get it. I'm hopeful but not counting on getting it in GA. I really enjoyed it and definitely worth seeking out IMO.

 

Endless supply for most of their beers, but definitely not something like BA Bomb, unless they amped up the supply, but I highly doubt that. I've been living in OKC for the past 2 years and most of their barrel aged stuff thats highly sought after ( Apple Brandy Noir, Pirate Noir, and Pirate Bomb to name a few) hardly last a few days. Even vanilla noir as gone quick this year. I'd imagine to get a case of that you probably need to know a liquor store owner, or go to rural store that landed a case or two somehow. Hell, the only reason I got Pirate Bomb (sept 2014) is that the guy at Broadway Wine said the case they had out was intended for one person, but they never picked it up.

For @VaTechPhilly, in other words, I would never in a million years go to Oklahoma to try and find something like BA Bomb because chances are you'll be shit out of luck. And then you'll be in Oklahoma with no BA bomb and very little to do.

Anyone from Oklahoma can feel free to correct me on my assessment of all this too.

 

There are cases of Coffee Okie still available in the Omaha area. Luckily our pricing is pretty good in Nebraska. I will take as much barrel aged Bomb! as my local store will sell me but my guess would be that there will be a 2 bottle limit and it will sell really fast just as Vanilla Noir did.

 

So if BA Bomb is supposed to come out at the end of January, when would it make it into circulation. I live in Kentucky and want to buy this ASAP!

 

Certainly NOT an endless supply. I know folks . If BA Bomb is released on a Friday, it will be a ghost by Monday (our liquor stores are closed on Sundays, cool right!!?). See latest Pirate Bomb/Van Noir releases.

As far as OK being boring.... I'm sure to most it is. But, we're fine with that. I've lived in the Midwest, it was okay, lots to do, close to a lot of "big cities", but most people were awful compared to Okies, just gross human beings. I'll take the people of a place before the place itself any day.

But, like most places, you have to know WHERE to go in OKC/Tulsa. If you are EVER in Bricktown during a trip to OKC, then you've done it wrong. Sorry Tapwerks .

Not usually that easy to get, but some times things don't get distributed to where the actually demand is ( for whatever reason ) in state, but it wouldn't surprise me either if you could score a case...
