I didn't post ANYTHING EVER. Not the group message or this thread. I opened the email to leave the thread as it was chatty and I wasn't participating.

I honestly had no idea what the heck this was or the rules. I saw the thread it seemed interesting, I clicked some stuff and decided I didn't want to do it.

I didn't even know I "lost." There is nothing to man up about. I am telling you the situation. Only this week has anyone attempted to reach out in an individual message to me, with a subject line designed to "bait" me I assume.

 

I didn't know I needed to do anything. Clearly I messed up by poking around and signing up unknowingly, but that is where the story ends from my perspective. If you want to report me to the mods that is fine, I have nothing to hide.

 

Wow, dude, really weak. Way to not honor a bet.

 

And on top of that, you're making yourself look more and more like a jerk by your answers.

 

I didn't even realize I was making a bet! Did you ever ONCE see me reply or post in this thread. I considered myself not involved. Had I made a bet, I would honor it.

 

Consider it what you want. I don't feel I should be involved with this in any way.

You picked teams week 1. That was you entering the bet. Doesn't matter that you didn't post in this thread. You took the info from this thread to enter the league and entered a full week one lineup. From there, you're in.

I don't have the time or the patience for this junk. You guys brought out the pitchforks. I am going to send this guy his beer and then I am getting out of BA, you people are ridiculous.

 

So many reasons why positive trade feedback should be a requirement, even in these large open BIF's. Because there is no track record here on BA, I can't tell if this was an honest mistake not knowing how this type of BIF works (doubtful), or someone who lost in Week 1 and thought that he was off the hook when other people stepped up to ship boxes (more likely). Either way, it sounds like this is resolved, and I hope that the box that is sent ends up being a respectable effort.

 

It is an honest mistake. I still don't completely know how this works. But I see everyone would rather assume the worse.

On the flip side, had I "won", I wouldn't have accepted anything since that wouldn't equally unfair of me given that I felt I was not participating.

 

It's already all been covered, so let's close the subject and get back to the beer! Show the group it was an honest mistake by sending a box worthy of the group.
