This one is Batch 2 (what most call Batch 1) aged for 3 years on whiskey casks. I'm surprised it isn't going for more than BA Abraxas

    What Catchy said...

Anchorage gotta keep their flagship beer relevant. Otherwise they fall off the radar.

It's a great BW, yes. But I could give a sh*t about how super rar it is.

Would rather load up on the next BA O.E. release.

in all fairness, BA O.E. is relatively rare too, since it's brewery only and limited

Anyone seems MTs Devils Teeth at a TJS/Whole Foods/TW in OC? Feeling too lazy to drive to Mr. K's.

I haven't looked in a week or two, but it wouldn't surprise me if you can still get it for the marked-up price they were charging at Cap n Cork on Hillhurst.

Don't know too many cognac barrel BW/Old Ales available, not as many as bourbon BA ones at least. That's probably a factor.

I thought it was undercarbed and on the sweet side but still amazing. I still have shitloads if it

I saw some Ideation in the back cooler at Total Wine Redondo today. I wanna say $14.99 or $15.99, but I'm not totally sure.

Phantom Carriage is doing their Oak Aged Broadacres with Peaches and Nectarines this Tuesday. Couple months ago they did a small keg of the Peach Broadacres and it was delicious!

Bottles will be on sale for $16/3 per person (750ml) at the brewery. Also, Wednesday, they're doing 1L growler fills of Bergman (only doing 60 of them though). Each tuesday this month will be a release. Next Tuesday is a blueberry lambic, and the tuesday after is a bourbon barrel stout
