Dude at three floyds today said that he wouldn't be surprised if the supply is gone by the weekend. Also said this chili beer gives dbh a run for its money

Gives DBH a run for its money? Man I am excited to try my bottle.

Apples to oranges. Two different styles. Conquistador is a very good beer, but this seems like a reach.

I hope it is next. A friend of mine grabbed me a bottle of Conquistador de muerte at about noon. I am stoked.

Were they sold in order of bottle number? I wonder who got 666.

$10 more than 4 years ago, same price as 2013, 2014, 2015...too expensive then, still too expensive now. The fact that they previously added fruit (the one element that GI Clybourn claimed made their last release $40 compared with other less expensive previous releases) and charged the same price (BA Behemoth wick Cherries, $40, released on 2/5/13, one week after BA Behemoth was released for $40) was telling then, and remains so today.

While I do think BA Behemoth is a solid beer, personally I rather take those $40 and buy 2 FW Sucabas AND a 4 pack of CW BBBW!! (I realize it would be a little over $40 but not by much)

I still have a regular, ASW BA version from last year. I cannot believe I paid $40 for this last year :grimacing:

The rapid inflation on FFF barrel aged offerings from their $25 low point at DLD 2012 has been hilarious.

BA Behemoth might be a $20 beer. It's certainly not worth $40.

Agree. It's a fantastic beer, really. I love it. But there's so many SIMILAR beers that have been bottled by other breweries and sold for $18-20 at the MOST.

I actually don't think it's all that great a beer, honestly. It's a hoppy barleywine... in bourbon barrels...

That said, I could drink Sucaba every day.

I tend to agree more with your assessment. I love Behemoth when very fresh. Not so much after the hops die off. So the barrel doesn't do much for me in this case.

Do they have the BA Behemoth available on draft? I'm not interested so much in the bottle, but wouldn't mind trying it if it's available on tap.
