This year's RS release schedule looks terrible compared to next year's.

11 RS Exclusives including Chocolate Rain, Grey Monday, Cherry Oude Tart, and Kumquat Sour in the Rye? Sheesh.

Yeah, they're definately bringing their A-game next year. I'm not sure how it can possibly get any better for 2014? PvW Black Tuesday maybe? Unless that already is one of the mystery beers...

It's pretty simple actually. Sorry you 're having trouble keeping up.

Reserve Society, then Hoarders Society. . .

An even more exclusive Reserve Hoarders Society in 2015?

The exact point that alpine fails to understand, hence my comment about exploitation. Safe to say that it is reasonable to assume that the price tag will continue to ratchet up with the next gimmick to follow the one before that. At least somebody gets it.

This thread is awesome. I initially was pissed off when I read about it because I didn't get my email invite, even though I've been an RS member from the get-go and buy my fair share of allocations (and attend almost every event) - so much so that I felt like not re-upping my RS for next year. Then I tried the website, logged in, paid my $700, and now all's good. I am officially a hoar.

I never said I got an invite. And I guess "fellating them" means saying it's a sound business plan and everyone should chill with the entitlement... you must have agreed with me because now you're posting that here.

So do people join this thing just for the trade value, or...?? Just cause it is Rar.r doesn't mean it'll be any better... Bruery puts out some decent stuff, but they are really selling exclusivity here, nothing more, nothing less.

That's fine though, who cares about timing? RS was just a way to guarantee allocations of specific beers. This too is another way of guaranteeing allocations of even more rare beers. Nobody has to join, no gun to the head...

PMR has the right to create his (You can all "GFY" society) club and charge $10,000 per person just to join. So what? you don't have to join. The club only costs 10X more than the Hoarders club, but the beers are 20X more rare!!!! This is nothing more than joining a club. You want a Ferrari? Go buy a Ferrari, get it in Yellow and then go to the exclusive Ferrari clubs on the weekends with all your pals. You want the higher up version? You want to pick up your groceries in a Ferrari FF? Go buy one! that simple. You will be fancy. This is the same thing, just beer. You don't like it? we got it

Personally, I think its absurd how much the HS membership costs, but if people want that, its all them. I just dont understand some peoples thought process claiming ethics are on fire here. I for one (and I can understand other people may have other expectations) purchased a membership the past two years to gain access to great beer. I have had that. I am happy.

My level of happiness will not greatly improve as a result of joining HS therfore I will likely put that money towards other items that will give me more happiness. I am not unhappy that this super cool rare rare rare hoarder society has been formed though. It has the right to exist IMHO

I didn't say my credit card was charged. I talk to people you know. By the way, why do you feel the need to hide behind a screenname on Facebook? For someone so wrapped up in hiding their own identity, funny you should post my personal information here.
