Got mine Fruit cart and Apricot

 

Anyone going up for the release that will be heading to San Diego anytime soon?
Debating finding a proxy as I won't be up there for the release next weekend.

Ended up with two bottles of Juteux

 

Good for Monkish. Fruit Cart is fucking delicious

 

Any idea if either of the two Monkish beers will be on tap at release or anytime soon?

I know nobody gives two shits about New Belgium around here.... But picked up a sixer of Citradelic at Ralph's for 9.99. Stuff is great! Poor mans Grapefruit sculpin at that price.

 

Apricot Kisses was stellar on draft. Being that Juteux reads like Apricot Kisses on steroids, I'm stoked for the bottles I was able to nab.

 

People don't care about New Belgium? I'm still a bit new to the forums but I haven't really seen anything about that until now. I like their beers well enough.

 

Picked up a Cognac Abyss and Avery Vanilla Bean stout at Lazy Acres

 

There were a handful of Amalgamator's left at Ramirez as of 12ish.

Any sign of Cognac Abyss anywhere near DTLA? Only seen mentions near Anaheim/LB/Redondo.

 

Yeah, I mean people like their stuff but they rarely ever mentioned. This thread usually involves esoteric sours and rare barrel aged stuff. So I like pointing out good deals on good beers just to mix things up.

 

Hi-Times has KBS 1 bottle per person. It's nice to have it hear, but I hope it's not treated like Bourbon County.

 

From what I understand, DTLA Whole Foods is having a Founders tap takeover tomorrow where if you buy a flight you are given the opportunity to purchase KBS along with FBS upon presenting the receipt from the flight. Its "first come, first serve" so it looks like lots of people might be downing their beers..

 

I've only been introduced to Founders through this site so can someone tell me what's the hubbub about this KBS business?

 

Never was huge on KBS, looking forward to getting Founders Imperial Stout when that releases though

 

It's a pre new money sought after / out of market BA stout. When Toppling Goliath upped the ante and added an additional "B" to the game, sh*T got real and KBS got knocked down a few pegs.

 

Hi times also had amalgamator bottles. Got 1 of each earlier. Nice way to drop $17 on a friday.
