As a member in The Stable, you'll receive eight wild ales packaged in 750mL bottles in 2016. Because wild ales are notoriously finicky and unpredictable, we cannot provide a list of beers that are expected as part of the membership. While we cannot predict which beers will be available, we expect each beer included in your membership to carry one or more of the following credentials: barrel aged, containing Brettanomyces or bacteria, and/or containing fruit. We plan to release two beers per quarter (four total distributions), subject to revision. If there are additional bottles available, The Stable will have the first opportunity to purchase additional bottles. We reserve the right to hold small quantities.
    • The Stable is The Good Beer Company's 2016 Beer Club
    • Membership includes eight 750mL bottles of unique wild ale
    • Special access to limited public release pre-sale, such as Blackberry Oro
    • One club-only t-shirt to represent your affiliation
    • One 6-pack Bottle Tote to carry home your allocations
    • Option to pre-order club-only glassware
    • Option to pre-order additional club-only t-shirts for your significant others
    • First right to The Stable 2017 membership
    • Pick up allocations at the Good Beer tasting room in Downtown Santa Ana
    • Cost is $175 plus tax

Might as well post first release information if we're making this the thread for discussion.

Club-Only Beer: We've packaged up a few different beers that may become the first allocations released to The Stable. We have bottled the following: single barrel (Barrel 34) mixed culture farmhouse ale, tart mixed culture farmhouse ale with cab franc grapes, and tart mixed culture farmhouse ale with mourvedre pomace. The cab franc grapes and mourvedre pomace were sourced last harvest from a friends vineyard in Fallbrook. These beers must go through a bottle conditioning process and will need to pass our quality control testing before they're released. Look for your first allocation near the end of the quarter.

Special Pre-Sale Access to Limited Public Releases: In addition to the very limited club-only beers, we've bottled the following: Wild Lady (batch 2), George, Nectarine Oro, sour mixed culture farmhouse ale, and sour mixed culture farmhouse ale with apricots. These beers also must go through a bottle conditioning period and must pass quality control testing prior to release. These beers are expected to be released between the end of January and March. We have a lot of exciting things on the way!

ya there's a waiting list now, cut off date was Dec 1st. Figured there should be a thread for the club regardless.

The beer is good. Had Blend 4 and Yellow peach today and I'll be definitely getting another bottle of Blend 4.

Nectarine Oro - 4.2% abv. 750mL bottle. Limit 2 per membership. Blonde farmhouse ale aged in French oak barrels with nectarines. This beer is bright, tart and fruity with a punch of nectarine flavor and dry finish.

George - 4.1% abv. 750mL bottle. Limit 2 per membership. Blonde farmhouse ale aged in French oak barrels with peaches. We selected this tart beer with peaches to honor grandpa George because he and grandma Sylvia used to make traditional peach dumplings together every summer in the peak of peach season. This beer is tart, fruity and crisp with loads of peach flavor and a dry puckering finish.

A La Votre - 6.5% abv. 750mL bottle. Limit 1 per membership. This beer was bottled many moons ago when we had A La Votre on tap in the tasting room. It's released today because the yeast blend finally reached proper carbonation levels. This mixed culture blonde ale is tart and crisp with flavors of juicy painted lady apples, white grapes, and quince with a subtle sourdough funkiness that finished dry and refreshing.

Wild Lady - 7.0% abv. 750mL bottle. Limit 4 per membership. We present to you second batch of Wild Lady, a beer that is supremely dry. This beer starts off as Painted Lady, our dry Belgian-style blonde ale. After months in bottles with wild yeast, it develops a subtle vinous quality that is perfect for warm southern California afternoons.

I assume this will be IP correct, and not online for Public?

Yes, I believe this is correct. This is strictly based on the assumption that since they open their doors on Fridays at 5pm that it will be IP and not online sales for the "public."
