Favorite Colorado IPAs?

Nighthawk's anniversary party is this Saturday and they're putting on some special kegs to celebrate. Might be the best time to check out their wares.

Erich, we can no longer be friends. Ok, just kidding. Glad you had a change of heart, because this is our fave at the brewery as well. Palate fatigue is a bitch.

I had 4.0 and the final iteration side by side last night. I'd definitely lean towards the final Codename as my favorite. Haze, yeast, orange pulp awesomeness. Great job, Odd13. Really happy to have an IPA like this available in cans!

I may have, strictly for educational purposes of course, "blended" a bit of each at the end of the night, and that was also awesome. Superfan 4.5, so to speak.

So those that have had the 4 noses bout damn time. .Do you like it over the Probiscis?

Damn you two. I was going to pass for now if you said it wasn't as good as probiscis and dont get me wrong I really like probiscis a lot. But since you both definitely like it better looks like I will be grabbing a growler of it along with some more 5.0....

At 4 noses. Got a pint of the Bout damn time. Followed by a growler of it. Good stuff.

 

I let Superfan 5.0 set for a bit as recommended below and liked it a great deal better. Not a big Equinox fan, so that makes a lot of sense Had it next to 4.0 last night and preferred 5.0, though 4.0 wasn't as good as I recall.

 

Yup, I was at 4 Noses earlier tonight and got two pints of 'Bout Damn Time. Very, very delicious. Their delivery driver was sitting next to me and I asked if it was a seasonal or what and he said they just brewed it as their first "American" IPA and I don't think they know what their plan is. The bartender mentioned it has been selling like apeshit so I'm hoping it gets canned or at least on regular tap rotation.

Highlight of the night: When some dude walked in and straight face asked the bartender, "Do you guys have any local beers?"

 

Anyone seen 5.0 in Denver stores recently? Looking to grab a six pack.
